These eight walers made of 100 x 50 parallel flange channel (PFC) left our workshop for Auckland before heading to Christchurch. There they have helped form a large curved concrete wall at The Art Centre Te Matariki Toi Ora in the city’s centre.
We had to roll the material “the hard way” (on its edge rather than on the flat), which can cause all sorts of issues with the PFC prone to deforming and buckling. Wasn’t an issue for our guys and the rolling machine though!
